For many years Hopi House has been pleased to feature the expertly woven rugs of Dine’ weaver, Louise Singer. She is from Chinle, Arizona and, like many Navajo weavers, Louise states that she learned to weave as a child by sitting alongside her grandmother & mother as they created rugs on their traditional looms. The skills she learned have enabled her to provide for her family for well over 20 years.
